The guy's certainly not doing anyone any favors by throwing out the drivers. Hopefully they were cheap replacements.

My point is that we've lost original Altec drivers, because they most likely needed to be reconed. If they were run over by a cement mixer, fine........ they're worthless. I doubt that was the case here.

Eh, could have been tossed prior to his obtainment of them, or just a convenient way to fend off the inevitable question about it.

Knowing of the seller, I doubt they'd've done so themselves, but you never know of course.

I contacted the seller and he said the drivers were "5 something" exact reply.So I'm thinking 515's ! I guess people don't realize they can be repaired.

I've been in contact with him too. The replies I've gotten suggest that he's either clueless (to put it mildly/nicely) or he's trolling me.

I've seen those cabs before, they were offered to me for sale.
